Mark Fisher

Mark's subjects usually feature landscape as he is fascinated by light and tonal range, which he captures expertly to draw you into his work. Rich colours and intriguing textures enhance his distinctive and dramatic pictures, many of which are built up with resin, giving a 3-D effect.

Mark was born in Canterbury in 1963 and spent most of his life in the Kent and Sussex area, though spending some time in Australia and London. He has worked all his life in design and architecture, and now devotes all of his time to art. He has always drawn and painted but also works in ceramic and 3-D media. His work has been exhibited and sold for the last 25 years and he is one of Saffron's best selling artists.
